Roll-Up Sheet Doors are ideal for mini warehouses and self-storage facilities with the goal of added security. Constructed from 26ga pre-painted galvanized sheets of steel roll formed with integral grooves that are hemmed together to form a continuous sheet guided vertically by roll formed guides.
Bestar Mini Storage Roll Up Doors are designed and manufactured with durability, quick installation, and ease of maintenance, which will definitely meet the high security and safety standards demanded in the Self Storage Industry.
Standard Features:
(1) Corrugated Curtain: 26 gauge Corrugated Curtain is roll formed from ASTM A 653 grade 80 full hard steel. This premium steel yields greater door strength and minimized curtain damage.
(2) Torsion Springs: Oil tempered Torsion Springs are factory lubricated to minimize friction and corrosion while increasing the spring cycle life.
(3) Drums: All Drums are fitted with a grease filled, shielded radial ball bearing to reduce wear and friction.
(4) Brackets: Galvanized Brackets are designed to easily snap onto the guides, reducing installation time.
(5) Ratchet Tensioning Assembly: The Ratchet Tensioning Assembly is factory installed on the end of the door axle and allows precise fine tuning of the initial spring tension.
(6) Guides: 18 gauge galvanized Guides are fitted with dual polyethylene wear strips to reduce friction and muffle door noises.
(7) Head Stops: Galvanized Head Stops are simple to install and prevent curtain over travel when raising the door.
(8) Bottom Bar: Galvanized Bottom Bar reinforced with a 2″ x 1-1/2″, 11 gauge full width galvanized angle that extends fully into the guides. The PVC bulb astragal provides positive contact with floor. Lift handles and stop clips installed on exterior side of bottom bar and a non-rotting pull rope is attached to the inside angle.
(9) Latch: Mini latch feature made from heavy gauge yellow zinc coated steel or optional stainless steel.
