Torsion Springs, with standard inner diameter sizes of 1.75 and 2.00 inches, are used to counter balance and assist in the opening and closing of your garage door. 

Bestar offer torsion springs in multiple wire sizes ranging from 0.207, 0.218, 0.225, 0.234, 0.243, 0.250, 0.262 to 0.272.

All Bestar Garage Door Torsion Springs are manufactured from high-tensile, oil-tempered spring wire, meeting ASTM A229.

(1) 0.207 in. wire size x 2 in. I.D. x 25 in. L with yellow color coding

(2) High-tensile and Oil-tempered Spring Wire

How To Measure Garage Door Springs?

To measure the torsion springs, follow each of the following four steps carefully. If the garage door has two springs measure each spring individually. 

(1) Measure Torsion Spring Inside Diameter

(2) Measure Torsion Spring Wire Size

(3) Measure Torsion Spring Length

(4) Wind of Torsion Spring
