With our Roll Up Door, you simply snap the brackets into the guides and the door is ready to stand.

Standard Features:

(1) Drums

All Drums are fitted with a grease filled, shielded radial ball bearing to contribute to a smoother operation, and reduce wear, friction and noise.

(2) Brackets

Factory installed galvanized reinforced 12 gauge Support Brackets are designed to easily snap onto the guides, reducing installation time.

(3) Ratchet Tensioning Assembly

The Ratchet Tensioning Assembly is factory installed on the end of the door axle shaft and allows precise fine tuning of the initial spring tension. Increments of 1/8 turn are possible. Tensioner adjusts both springs equally at the same time from only one end of the door.

(4) Springs

Oil tempered and high tensile helical torsion Springs are factory lubricated to minimize friction and corrosion while increasing the spring cycle life. Spring wire conforms to USA ASTM A 229 standard.

(5) Corrugated Curtain

Galvanized (or Galvalume) and pre-painted with long lasting silicone polyester paint, the 26 gauge Corrugated Curtain is roll formed from ASTM A 653 grade 80 full hard steel. This premium steel yields greater door strength and minimized curtain damage. Full height felt tape on the back of the curtain prevents nesting and reduces paint rubbing. More than 20 colors are available.

(6) Guides

Roll formed 18 gauge galvanized Guides are fitted with dual heavy duty polyethylene wear strips to reduce friction and muffle door noises.  All guide attachment to jamb is performed through the guides without the addition of clips welded to the back of the guide.

(7) Latch

4 bolt Lock Latch is made from heavy gauge yellow zinc coated steel or optional stainless steel. Latch accepts all industry padlocks, including 7/16” diameter shanks.

(8) Head Stops

Galvanized guide-mounted Head Stops are simple to install and prevent the curtain over travel when raising the roll up door. Installed through the guide after curtain is lowered, they provide definite contact with the bottom bar angle and bottom stop clips.

(9) Bottom Bar

Roll formed clear acrylic coated galvanized (or Galvalume) steel Bottom Bar reinforced with a 2″ x 1-1/2″, 11 gauge full width galvanized steel Angle that extends fully into the guides. The PVC Bulb Astragal provides positive contact with the floor. The Lift Handles and Stop Clips are installed on exterior side of bottom bar. The non-rotting nylon Pull Rope is attached to the inside angle.

(10) Pull Rope

The 1/4″ (6.35mm) nylon Pull Rope is attached to Bottom Angle.
