Large Mounting Plates from Bestar Door are constructed from durable steel to provide a reliable and long lasting mounting surface for garage door mounting brackets. These are important in garage door installations with metal door jambs, as the mounting brackets cannot be safely mounted to metal.

When installing a garage door to any metal building with steel door jambs, Steel Mounting Plates are required to safely install the garage door. Mounting plates come with pre-drilled holes for uniform installation on both sides of steel door jambs, and have pre-cut slots to make mounting bracket installation straightforward without any additional measuring or cutting of the material.
